”For many generations, colonization has eroded the cultural foundation of the Filipino people, leaving a sense of disconnection to their identity. I use my art to regrow these roots by drawing inspiration from Filipino tattoo patterns as the foundation of my art, I help people connect to their ancestors and heritage. My hope is to inspire others to embrace their own unique perspectives, cultural backgrounds, and artistic talents.”
